Like comb binding and thermal binding, wire binders offer a way of presenting your documents in a professional yet cost-effective way, however they have advantages over other types of binding in that the wire spines allow documents to lay completely flat on the desk.
This is especially useful in exam or conference situations where delegates are expected to be able to make notes or write on documents. They are also extremely durable and can last a long time with heavy use. This was very often the format used for computer manuals that had to take a lot of abuse in busy departments.
Although more expensive than comb or thermal,
wire binding can give more durable results.
